The Blochs choose to sell their home in order to be closer to their grandkids
Chanon and his family have lived in beautiful Westlake Village for over 15 years. In Westlake, Chanon and Sarah, his wife, became active in the local community, started a business and most importantly raised their children. As the story goes, their children became adults and soon after parents, where they now live on the east coast. With an empty house and family across the country, the Blochs knew it was time to make a move.
After selling multiple houses and paying tens of thousands in commissions, the Blochs wanted to find an alternative way to sell their home. Through Chanon’s research he found quite a few different solutions to sell his house, however, when he found Everhome he got excited because he didn’t realize that this type of flat fee service was available.
During his research Chanon was uncertain about the effectiveness of Everhome’s selling process, but he gave Everhome a call to learn more about Everhome and its operation. Chanon said, “I got a hold of David, who was highly professional from the start, providing expert advice about my questions regarding repairs and timelines before I even agreed to work with Everhome. He graciously explained their team approach and leveraged technology and individual expertise to help streamline the process, then passed those savings onto the sellers.”
Chanon went on to explain that during the process, David or an Everhome team member was always there to explain and help move the transaction forward. “The entire process was smoother and more efficient than anticipated, which was a pleasant surprise. I felt like multiple agents were working for me instead of just one.”
In the end, the Blochs sold their home in 11 days, were able to avoid paying for any repairs, and received an additional one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) over the asking price. “And the best part is that I saved over $30,000 in sales commissions!”
By working with Everhome, Chanon and Sarah were able to remove the stresses of selling a home, move closer to their family, all while giving them a financial cushion to do what is most important – spend time with their family and settle into their new lives.
